Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in Ohio. Using our retail store network, we generate revenue to support individuals with disabilities and homeless veterans.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Retail Store Manager with store operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with policies, including theft reporting and illegal activities.
  3. Resolve customer complaints impartially and refer unresolved disputes to the manager.
  4. Supervise and train retail associates, providing coaching and corrective guidance.
  5. Recommend disciplinary actions to the Assistant Manager or Manager.
  6. Monitor sales transactions and ensure proper procedures are followed.
  7. Handle escalated customer issues.
  8. Inspect and validate pricing and production quality.
  9. Ensure the production team meets goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  1. Train and delegate work to Donation Attendants, Merchandise Processors, and Sales Associates.
  2. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
  3. Ability to perform physical activities like walking, standing, bending, and climbing.
  4. Work flexible hours supporting store operations.
  5. Communicate effectively in English with customers and staff.
Physical Requirements
  1. Stand or sit for extended periods.
  2. Bend, twist, lift, and carry up to 35 pounds.
  3. Work in a moderate noise environment.
  4. Operate a computer and phone, with close vision required.
  5. Maintain regular attendance.
