Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Retail Team Leader (Key Holder) in Fort Gratiot, MI. You will lead store operations, open/close duties, and maintain inventory while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role offers growth into leadership with opportunities to advance and participate in a strong team culture, including health benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to open/close the store and manage daily operations.
• Mill-lift or power equipment experience not required but helpful.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and support daily operations.
• Assist unloading deliveries, stock merchandise, move stock from back to floor.
• Maintain merchandise rotation and food handling standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and solve problems.
• Handle cash deposits and cashier change, support in training associates.

Be part of it!As part of the leadership team, you will make an impact by:Opening and closing the StoreHelp complete daily Store operations and tasks for the dayAssists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store.Maintaining merchandise - product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, ensure product qualityProviding exceptional customer service - building relationships, problem-solving, and building salesCash handling - bank deposits, getting change for cashiers, setting and counting down registersHelping to build and train the team!
