Job summary

New Balance in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Retail Team Lead to open/close the store, mentor associates, and drive results while delivering a world-class guest experience.

You will lead by example, coach through our core competencies, and ensure safety standards. The role requires 2 years of retail supervisory experience and a high school diploma, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2 years retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor and coach all associates professionally.
• Be results-driven in achieving store KPIs through training and development of associates.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the guest service model.

JOB MISSION

As part of the New Balance retail leadership team, the part‑time Retail Team Lead assists with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies.

Major Accountabilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
• Be results‑driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
• Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
• Opening/closing the store
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures

Requirements For Success

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
• Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)

Tulsa, OK Retail Only Pay Range: $14.75 - $18.45 - $22.15 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
