Job summary

Goodwill of Orange County in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a capable Retail Associate to help manage daily store operations, assist the Store Manager, and ensure store revenue and expense goals are met. The role provides back-up support to leadership and requires reliable transportation and flexibility across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will contribute to staff training, sales, merchandising, and signage, and you’ll interact with customers to deliver friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; GED plan within 6 months.
• Two years retail sales experience; cashiering preferred.
• Ability to stand 7-8 hours daily; lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible to work at other Orange County store locations; reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak English to communicate with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• To assist in managing retail store operations to achieve store revenue and expense goals.
• Position provides back up to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
• Primary areas of responsibility include: staff management and training, sales, production, merchandising, and signage.
