Job summary

The Men's Wearhouse in Layton, UT is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations. You will perform alterations, fittings, and garment repairs to ensure a perfect fit for customers, using precise measuring and sewing techniques.

In this role you will maintain a clean, organized workspace, assist customers with alterations recommendations, and support inventory and teamwork in a fast-paced store. Regular hours include required availability of up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with alterations such as hems and garment fitting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
• Excellent customer service and ability to consult customers on alterations.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations (hems, waist/seat, rise and tapering, sleeves, seams) per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area and ensure high-quality finishes.
• Assist customers with consultations, recommendations, and fitting needs.
• Support inventory by monitoring tailoring supplies and restocking when needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive store environment.
