Job summary

White's Ace Hardware in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a hands-on Retail Associate to keep the store running from backroom to front counter. You will unload freight, stock shelves, assist customers at the drive-thru, and help deliver orders.

This role involves outdoor work at times, a 50 lb lifting requirement, grill assembly, propane filling, forklift operations, and safety training. We offer paid vacation, sick time, holidays, employee discounts, a SIMPLE IRA with company match, and annual raises

• Customer service experience or willingness to assist customers in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

You still wear the red vest: when a customer stops you, stop, ask what they're working on, and get them to the right teammate.Who this work suitsThis work keeps you moving, some of it outdoors, and you'll work with customers as well as merchandise. We'll teach you our products and how to work safely. 50 lbs. lifting requirement. Grill Assembly. Propane filling. Forklift operations. You'll see customers every shift. If you'd rather work entirely behind the scenes, this role probably isn't the right match.Time off that grows with you.
