Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Retail Supervisor to join our team at Tusayan General Store in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training retail team members and working to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures. What will you do?
  • Consistently supervise and train retail team members to maintain standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with staff to regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays and store cleanliness.
  • Assist management with the daily cash procedures, operations and scheduling.
  • Monitor store floor, assist with guests' needs and requests.
  • Ensure location and integrity of physical inventory and par levels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
More about you
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer service retail environment preferred.
  • Requires high school diploma or GED, cash handling and POS system experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, direct the work activities of several team members simultaneously and plan ahead.
Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May use step stool to reach high items on shelving.
  • Constant standing, walking, lifting, repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, grasping, and reaching.
  • Exposure to and use of chemicals required for cleaning and sanitizing areas, equipment and surfaces.
