Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill in Redmond, WA is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist the Retail Operations team. You will supervise store associates, ensure high-quality customer service, and manage daily store activities across categories on a rotating schedule.

The role emphasizes training, scheduling, reporting, and maintaining a safe, productive store environment with a focus on teamwork and donor/customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency but not required.
• 2 years’ experience with retail with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• 2 years’ customer service/retail experience.
• 1 year supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, coach and train employees while performing the work of a Sales Associates as needed.
• Complete retail operational requirements by scheduling and assigning one or more employees.
• Set expectations, instruct, coach and identify training needs.
• Maintain orderly operations of the store in the absence of the Manager and Assistant.
• Resolve workplace problems by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity.
• Ensures excellent customer service is provided to customers and donors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results.
