Compass Healthcare in Stafford, VA is looking for a Retail Supervisor to oversee food service operations in our department. The supervisor will maintain sanitation, handle cash, assist with menu planning, and ensure smooth operation by managing associates.

Job description

Morrison Healthcare – Retail Supervisor

Location: Stafford, VA 22401. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Monday–Friday, open availability preferred. Alternating weekends may be required.

Pay: $20.00–$21.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Ensures the proper assembly and service of foods, maintains sanitation and safety of the department’s service and utility areas, and supervises retail associates.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Proper cash handling and completion of required daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including inventory, cash reports, and production records.
• Respond to customer needs and resolve customer concerns.
• Assist with menu planning and ordering using company programs and initiatives.
• Open and close the department per security policies.
• Assist in selecting and orienting associates and oversee associate training.
• Develop and post associate work schedules.
• Ensure daily and weekly tasks are performed appropriately.
• Evaluate, mentor, and discipline associates according to departmental policy.
• Comply with federal, state, local, and health department regulations and company policies, procedures, and practices involving food, personal safety, and loss‑prevention efforts.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving, assembling, and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
• Identify and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS/SDS sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
