Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Manager, Retail Strategy to lead high-priority initiatives from problem definition to executive recommendations, partnering with senior leaders across the Retail organization.

You will frame complex challenges, run rigorous analyses, and craft executive-ready presentations to influence strategy decisions, while leveraging AI tools to improve research quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
• 3–6 years of full-time experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial services, investment banking, or related strategic function.
• Experience leading or supporting complex strategic problem-solving initiatives.
• Experience framing business questions, developing hypotheses, and creating strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills across quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Experience delivering executive-ready presentations and communications.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency, research, analysis, and deliverable quality.
• Interest in financial services and alignment with Schwab values.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority strategy projects and initiatives from inception through implementation.
• Frame complex business challenges and develop fact-based strategic recommendations.
• Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance data to inform decisions.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and storytelling for leadership.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and align stakeholders.
• Coach teams on analytical workstreams and deliverables.
• Translate ambiguity into structured, actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic priorities.
• Leverage AI and productivity tools to enhance research and deliverables.
