Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Loves Park, IL seeks a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise and support store operations. You will also help track production numbers and move processed items to the sales floor while providing friendly service to donors.

The role includes receiving trucks, maintaining clean spaces, and working with the team to meet daily goals, with evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled and training provided.

Job description

Location: Loves Park, IL

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About The Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
