Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, price, and prepare donated goods, keeping the store organized and helping meet daily production goals.

You will track production numbers, move merchandise to the floor, and assist loading/unloading. Training is provided, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, plus opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department

Pay: $13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 25 hours per week. Flexible scheduling required. Monday - Saturday days, evenings, and weekends

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department
