Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Experience to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment and materials.
• Ability to supervise and manage site functions.
• Ability to use a computer for reports, inventory and cash control.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean and stocked.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and site image.
• Promote non-discriminatory management in hiring, training and counseling.
• Develop positive supplier relationships and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Train staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate effectively with all employees and hold regular meetings.
• Organize site files, manage reports and ensure accurate, timely completions.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, shown attractively and priced correctly.
• Maintain required employment posters and signage in accessible places.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; budget and forecast P&L.
• Safeguard money and handle all financial transactions accurately.
