Job summary

Circle K in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will manage scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and store presentation while upholding company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to train and develop employees; you will maintain a safe, efficient store and build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff per CSR/ASM duties.
• Ability to supervise and manage store functions.
• Ability to use computer for reports, inventory, cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• English communication (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well kept.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices during hiring, training, and counseling.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote safe, positive public image within the local community.
• Prepare timely performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
• Train all employees on customer service, site image and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all staff and hold regular meetings.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals; ensure reports are completed.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; budget and forecast margins.
• Safeguard money and ensure accurate cash handling; perform financial analyses.
