Hibbett I City Gear in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager in daily operations and administration. You will gain in-depth knowledge of each department and help implement sales plans, merchandising, and scheduling to meet store goals.

This role emphasizes outstanding customer service, asset protection, and adherence to company policies. You will step in as acting manager when needed and develop leadership skills while building a welcoming shopping

Qualifications

Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
1-3 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in controlling the assets of the store.
Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments when necessary.
Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by the store.
Uphold all store policies, procedures, and standards.
