Job Summary

The Retail Store Manager role requires meeting and exceeding client expectations with overall store responsibility for effectiveness and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to identify, hire, train, and manage talent, and strong leadership and development skills. Performance management and coaching skills are essential for developing sales representatives. This position manages both full and part-time Mobile Advisors.

The starting salary for this role is at least $71,400 per year, plus a monthly bonus. We promote work-life balance! This role involves leading a team for 40 hours a week, allowing time for personal pursuits.

Essential Functions

  1. Manage all aspects of in-store operations, including staffing, scheduling, customer engagement, sales, merchandising, and inventory.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with field leadership.
  3. Promote communication and adherence to directives with the in-store team and field leadership.
  4. Manage sales productivity and guest experience through performance management and coaching.
  5. Ensure employee satisfaction through engagement initiatives.
  6. Interview and hire high-quality full and part-time Sales Reps.
  7. Manage attrition using KPIs.
  8. Achieve sales and customer service objectives through performance management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with field sales leadership to meet company goals.
  2. Participate in leadership meetings and report on store performance.
  3. Ensure all employees are trained and provide feedback for improvement.
  4. Handle hiring, training, and performance management in collaboration with HR.
  5. Make staffing decisions at the store level.
  6. Coach and train sales staff directly.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years in sales, account management, or related fields, with 2+ years in retail management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in specialty retail management.
  • Proven leadership and store management success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and travel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to motivate others.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Additional Requirements

  • Physical ability to perform tasks like bending, reaching, lifting, and moving items.
  • Ability to move around the store, assist customers, and handle merchandise.

  • Base salary: $71,400 to $100,800, based on experience and location.
