STORE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and directing the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Developing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability as per budget and goals.
• Maintaining good Customer/Donor/Community relations; resolving complaints; ensuring quick and efficient service.
• Scheduling employees and coordinating daily team meetings.
• Supervising staff to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
• Hiring, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Managing inventory levels and processing sales floor Rag Out.
• Overseeing Back Room Processing (BRP) to meet processing goals.
• Safeguarding cash, managing banking, and processing paperwork related to time and attendance.
• Attending district and store meetings to communicate policies and updates.
• Implementing safety and loss prevention measures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in POS/cash register operations and cash handling.

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to handle objects and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

SCHEDULE

Stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure adequate coverage.
