Job summary

Squishable is seeking a Store Manager for the Cincinnati area to lead daily store operations and drive sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will manage a dynamic team, oversee opening and closing procedures, and ensure inventory accuracy and compelling merchandise presentation.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of retail management in a fast-paced setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for empowering staff to grow.

Qualifications

What does a Squishable Store Manager do?

The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the store and is accountable for its sales performance, its team, and its standards. Responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating, and developing the store team, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
• Setting and executing business strategies for the store in partnership with the Regional Manager
• Opening and closing the store (at times on your own) and taking responsibility for accurate day-start and day-end cash handling
• Ensuring accurate inventory levels and punctual restocking of merchandise on the floor
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandise presentation
• Maintaining enthusiasm and motivation in the store, and ensuring a fun and memorable environment
• Supporting all types of POS transactions and customer inquiries
• Adhering to all company policies, practices, and safety standards

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail management experience in a high-volume, fast‑paced, challenging, and creative customer‑facing environment
• 2–5 years of customer service experience
• Passion for people! A dynamic and engaged leader with a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating, teaching, and developing team members
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
