The Store Manager contributes to Buff City Soap’s success by leading a team to create and maintain the Buff City Experience for our clients. Responsibilities include supervising staff, making staffing decisions, ensuring client satisfaction, monitoring staff performance, handling maintenance issues, ensuring cleanliness, and managing safety and security.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and coaching employees to provide excellent client experiences.
  2. Responding swiftly to client concerns.
  3. Setting a positive example and maintaining a calm demeanor during busy times.
  4. Ensuring team accountability for quality service.
  5. Driving company metrics through action plans and team motivation.
  6. Promoting company culture, values, and mission.
  7. Delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Managing stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  9. Maintaining store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
  10. Overseeing cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the makery.
  11. Managing staffing levels for development and operational needs.
  12. Ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
  13. Using operational tools for planning and achieving excellence.
  14. Analyzing financial reports to improve performance.
  15. Conducting performance assessments and setting goals.
  16. Managing ongoing sales activities.
  17. Working a 5-day week of 40 hours, with varying shifts based on business needs.
  18. Having reliable transportation for banking and other duties.
Experience & Skills:
  • Management and/or sales experience required.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership skills with coaching and mentoring ability.
  • Team building and delegation skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Not sensitive to scents and fragrances.
  • Dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform cleaning functions and physical movements as required.
