Job summary

Skechers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Illinois to lead a team, manage daily operations, and enhance customer service while maintaining Skechers’ brand standards. You will drive sales initiatives, oversee inventory and merchandising, and support seamless store performance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required to guide a team, optimize processes, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. Weekend/evening availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and motivate a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and deliver top customer service.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet brand standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, restock processes, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
• Oversee store systems, including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and operations.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies and exceeding targets.
• Address customer concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
