This role involves recruiting and developing staff, supervising daily operations, and implementing corporate directives to optimize profitability while ensuring safety and exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus
• Strong productivity management in freight processing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent lifting/stooping/standing

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
• Grow and develop associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching as needed
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations; enforce company policies and procedures
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate HQ
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution
• Protect company assets
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
