Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training at our Dacula, GA location. You will learn to manage store profitability, merchandising, signage, and customer experience while adhering to company policies and training programs.

Your day-to-day includes recruiting and coaching associates, overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe, high-energy work environment. A quarterly bonus is available for achieving performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster the growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help your store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
