Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan's Heartland is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to drive store performance within budget while achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals. You will lead a diverse team, ensure exceptional customer service, and oversee logistics between the store and our donation/plant operations.

The role offers a $55,000–$60,000 annual salary plus a quarterly sales bonus, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership with focus on sales goals and customer service.
• Experience training and mentoring staff to meet production targets.
• Strong cash handling, closing procedures and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team to meet or exceed sales goals with professional service.
• Coordinate store logistics between store and plant for needs.
• Train, motivate and mentor staff to hit production targets.
• Manage employee performance and provide feedback.
• Create bi-weekly staff schedules aligned to production needs.
• Respond to customer complaints professionally.
• Handle cash and related financial responsibilities.
• Close the store at least twice per week and respond to after-hour needs.
