Job summary

Dry Goods USA is seeking a Store Manager in Illinois to drive retail growth by motivating associates and delivering exceptional customer service. You will direct activities to meet store goals, elevate associate and customer engagement, and maintain an inspiring, fashionable store environment.

You will oversee recruitment, coaching, payroll, benefits, merchandising, and store operations while ensuring a positive and productive workplace across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team and driving customer service excellence.
• Ability to coordinate interviews, screenings and references.
• Staffing forecasting and scheduling experience.
• Payroll and time-keeping responsibilities familiarity.
• Merchandising execution and store presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Motivate store employees to deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Execute all duties of a sales associate and keyholder.
• Coordinate the interview process: screenings, interviews and references.
• Maintain appropriate staffing and forecast future needs.
• Assess associate performance and provide feedback and evaluations.
• Develop associates’ skills to meet store goals through training.
• Complete payroll and time clock maintenance.
• Administer employee benefit enrollment and usage.
• Implement merchandising plans and maintain store visuals and cleanliness.
• Be available for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
