Job Summary

The Salon Director leads a team to deliver an exceptional client experience, managing daily operations, staffing, client satisfaction, and safety. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining salon standards, managing performance, and ensuring operational excellence.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Develop and coach employees to provide excellent client experiences
  • Address client concerns promptly
  • Lead by example with a calm demeanor during busy times
  • Ensure team accountability for service quality
  • Drive performance through action plans and company programs
  • Promote company culture and values
  • Manage salon cleanliness, maintenance, and safety
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and compliance with wage laws
  • Use operational tools and financial reports to improve performance
  • Conduct performance assessments and set goals
  • Manage ongoing sales efforts
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including varied shifts as needed
Experience and Skills
  • Management and sales experience required; college preferred but not mandatory
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Team building and delegation abilities
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for long periods
