Role Description

The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Grant, AL, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and leading the store team. This role manages staffing, scheduling, training, and performance to ensure excellent customer service and a positive in-store experience. The Store Manager monitors inventory levels, merchandising standards, and store presentation, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include driving sales, managing cash handling and store reporting, implementing loss prevention practices, and resolving customer issues in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves coaching team members, promoting a safe work environment, and supporting company initiatives to meet operational and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to creating a welcoming, helpful store environment.


• Effective Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, team members, and leadership, including the ability to provide feedback and resolve issues.


• Store Management experience, including supervising staff, coordinating day-to-day operations, and driving sales and performance results.


• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrink, ensuring proper cash handling, and promoting compliance with store policies.


• Previous retail leadership experience, preferably in a high-volume or discount retail environment.


• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and perform essential physical tasks of store operations.


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.


• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or management training is a plus.
