Job description

YOUR MISSION

• Assess the cleanliness and hygiene of the building
• Ensure that all public and employee areas of the store are cleaned
• Clean bathrooms
• Replenish bathroom supplies
• Dust all fixtures and walls
• Ensure windows are clean
• Wash floors, including stairwells
• Clean elevators and escalators
• Empty garbage cans and recycling bins
• Empty and clean out refrigerators
• Monitor the level of cleaning supplies
• Make simple repairs that do not require professional help
• Inform the General Manager of any maintenance, repairs, or renovations needed in the store
• Comply with all operational core competencies and key accountabilities
• Execute all requirements concerning OSHA to maintain a safe and compliant working environment
• Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; overtime may be required

YOUR TALENT

• Constant walking and movement are required.
• The role involves frequent standing, reaching, bending, twisting, and maintaining balance while walking.
• Using ladder/step stool equipment, occasional kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending/stooping, and sitting to assist customers.
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of sales and stock areas.
• Pushing/pulling equipment such as shelving bays, dollies, carts, and racks with up to 20 pounds of force, and lifting/carrying/placing boxes of product up to 30 pounds at heights up to 131 inches using a ladder.
• Critical senses for this position include speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Environmental factors include operation of foot controls for mobile stock shelving bays and exposure to working at heights.

The base pay for this position is $17.50-$20.50/hr plus benefits.

Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
