Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience leading store operations in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store and stockroom clean and well‑stocked to company standards.
• Protect company assets, including cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms and store areas clean and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
