Job summary

Costellos Ace is seeking a Store Manager In Training in Whiteford, MD to learn and perform essential duties of store management. You will help manage daily operations, drive sales, lead a team, and ensure customer satisfaction while developing leadership skills for the Store Manager role.

This role requires strong leadership, a focus on inventory and merchandising, and the ability to train staff. You will work on weekends and holidays as needed and coordinate with the Store Manager on promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in retail with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage store operations effectively.
• Experience in training staff to improve performance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and apply strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
• Support the Store Manager in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring product availability.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills in customer service, merchandising, and team leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff to enhance team performance.
• Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and execute promotional strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
