Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead daily store operations and develop a high-performing team. You will learn to manage merchandising, signage, and customer experience while upholding company policies and driving profitability.

The role emphasizes on-the-job training, recruiting, coaching, and ensuring compliance with laws and standards to maintain a welcoming, safe, and productive store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height with frequent walking and bending.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help your store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
