Job summary

Circle K in Baton Rouge is seeking a Store Manager in Training to develop leadership skills while overseeing daily store operations, sales, and customer service. You will learn to recruit, train and supervise team members, manage stock, and uphold Circle K standards in a fast-paced convenience store environment.

The role offers full-time hours, hands-on coaching, and growth opportunities within Gulf Coast BU. A high school diploma, retail experience, and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports.
• A valid driver’s license and transportation to/from meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train store employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Schedule employees and manage tasks to meet Circle K standards.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints.
• Train staff on safety procedures and company standards.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits and margins.
• Maintain store appearance, stock levels and pricing consistent with standards.
