Job summary

Family Dollar in Americus, GA is seeking a Store Manager to lead associates, assist customers, and drive store sales. You will oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience while safeguarding assets.

The role requires strong communication, results focus, and retail management experience. You’ll work with the community, supervise merchandising, and ensure compliance with policies. This is a full-time, at-will position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height is required.
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
