AutoZone Assistant Store Manager leads daily store operations, energizes team performance, and drives sales in a fast-paced retail setting. With strong leadership, clear communication, and a passion for WOW! customer service, you recruit, supervise, schedule, train, and develop teammates to sustain a high-performance culture.

You’ll manage inventory, uphold safety and PPE standards, analyze profits and losses, and contribute to cost controls while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive parts knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Capable of lifting, loading, and delivering merchandise safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing store personnel to maintain a high-performance team.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with employees and customers.
• Help meet sales targets and maintain inventory accuracy to drive store performance.
• Lead operational workflows and adherence to company standards in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure WOW! customer service and transform concerns into positive experiences.
• Support budgeting, monitor expenses, and maximize profitability.
