Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for appropriate solutions.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings to encourage safety and policies.
• Opens and closes the store; ensures staffing and smooth daily operations.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for expense control.
• Oversees ordering to meet stock targets and manages replenishment cycles.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise per company processes.
• Ensures merchandise is presented according to practices with proper pricing and signage.
• Maintains inventory levels and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Keeps a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
