Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations in a dynamic retail environment. You will oversee staffing, training, performance evaluations and adherence to company policies to ensure a high standard of customer service.

You will also manage inventory, pricing, merchandising and daily cash controls while maintaining a safe and welcoming shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
• Experience with cash handling and deposit reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, identify gaps and counsel as needed.
• Open and close the store on schedule; ensure security and daily operations.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, merchandising and planograms; maintain stock levels.
• Uphold cash controls, cashier accountability and store financial integrity.
