Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to policies; ensure store is staffed.
• Provide proper training; conduct evaluations; address gaps with solutions or counseling.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; coordinate meetings to reinforce policies.
• Open and close the store regularly; ensure proper staffing and operational readiness.
• Monitor sales, profitability and inventory; manage ordering and stock levels weekly.
• Lead merchandise staging, stocking and pricing to meet in-stock targets.
