Job summary

Cain-Petroleum-Inc is seeking a part-time Cashier & Attendant for our Portland, OR location. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, fueling vehicles with the correct grade, and handling sales receipts accurately.

Weekend availability is required for a graveyard shift roughly 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Duties include greeting customers, operating pumps, processing payments, cleaning, and teamwork to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fuel/gas station environment is preferred.
• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Activate pumps and dispense correct fuel grade and amount; provide receipts.
• Process payments, mainly credit cards; direct other payments to Cashier.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties and wash windshields.
• Report any suspicious activity to supervisor or authorities if needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and work collaboratively in a team.
• Take direction from supervisor and uphold customer-first standards.
• Contribute to closing duties when needed.

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while fueling vehicles with requested fuel grades by performing the following duties:

Cashier & Attendant Responsibilities

Must Be Available On Weekends.

Part-time Graveyard Shift approx. 10p-6am

Essential Duties:

• Greets customers, answers questions, and provides prompt, courteous service.
• Activates pumps and fills customer fuel tanks with correct grade and amount of fuel and provides receipts of sale.
• Responsible for all payment transactions with customers, mainly credit card transactions, and directing all other forms of payment to Cashier.

Job Duties:

• Completes assigned cleaning responsibilities.
• Washes windshields.
• Reports any suspicious activity to direct supervisor and authorities, if needed.
• Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/district coordinator.
• Maintains Chevron Customer First Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Closes the store when needed.
