Store - INDY-TRADERS POINTE, IN

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver our Brand Promises. Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.

1. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
2. Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
3. Move equipment and products for cleaning and restore products to correct placement.
4. Clean assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, including mixing water and detergents as needed.
5. Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic zones to ensure a safe, clean environment.
6. Keep cleaning equipment organized; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance.
7. Identify areas requiring cleaning and proactively complete tasks.
8. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor in accordance with all applicable guidelines.
9. Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, exemplifying our organization’s values.
10. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for team members.

Other duties may include:

1. Provide a quick, friendly checkout experience, including cash handling.
2. Engage customers about Rewards programs and Credit Card enrollment.
3. Support Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
4. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
5. Support shrink and safety initiatives.
6. Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure legal and operational compliance.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in retail and/or cleaning preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch.
• Lifting heavy objects and using ladders or equipment to access high shelves.
• Contact supervisor for accommodations if needed to perform essential job functions.

Work Environment:

• Public retail setting, climate-controlled areas, some outdoor work, and possibly unconditioned stock rooms.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Use of commercial cleaning supplies and chemicals.
