What you'll be doing day to day
As a Retail Store Associate, floating between various departments, contributing to a successful shopping experience, you will:
- Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs, and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
- Keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked. Ensure that IKEA basic merchandising standards are maintained to provide a positive shopping experience.
- Convey passion about IKEA products, actively learn about their features and benefits, and share this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices.
- Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduce new products, implement the commercial calendar, and assist with remodels.
- Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
- Flow products to the final selling location.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
- Ensure a smooth returns and exchange process for customers.

Qualifications
• 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
• Experience in actively selling by understanding customers and their needs.
