The Retail Store Closing Lead is the visible leader on the sales floor, ensuring a positive customer and associate experience. The role involves engaging with customers and associates, providing coaching, recognition, and task follow-up, and supporting the store leadership team by working closing shifts on nights and weekends as part of the leadership rotation schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. Model exemplary customer service behaviors, providing a great experience for customers and associates with professionalism.
2. Engage associates, promote open communication, and provide recognition and coaching in the moment.
3. Touch base with each associate to establish priorities.
4. Monitor the front-end experience to ensure a positive first and last impression.
5. Observe and give feedback on checkout speed, line management, and friendliness.
6. Review staffing, lunch/break schedules, and cashier coverage.
7. Assign backup cashiers to ensure timely processing during peak periods.
8. Evaluate recovery needs and monitor fitting rooms, selling floor, front end, and other areas.
9. Follow up on assigned workload planner and tasks, ensuring completion and clarity of expectations.
10. Conduct AM/PM store rallies.
11. Complete closing communication for the opening Manager on Duty.

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
