Lamps Plus, Inc. is hiring a Retail Store Associate in Redlands, CA. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training, designed to develop selling skills for future advancement into a commissioned position with unlimited earning potential after the training period.

The role emphasizes customer service, efficient merchandising, and accurate stock handling. You will support the Store Team, learn selling techniques, and grow your career within the Lamps Plus brand.

Qualifications

• Motivated, upbeat individual who enjoys working with people and providing superior customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and work day shifts and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for home demonstrations/consultations.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify merchandise receipts during deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading in-store stockroom for stocking/restocking items.
• Suggest discrepancies or damaged items to Store Manager or Support Supervisor.
• Stock shelves by style, size and type; merchandiser duties.
• Track inventory, tagging or labeling as needed.
• Unpack, store, transfer, display merchandise with care to prevent damage.
• Assist with clerical duties like filing, data entry, audits.
• Prepare products for display, including assembling and pricing.
• Ring up sales at register or kiosk and check product availability.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and assist with customer stock checks.
• Pull product and perform merchandise carries for customers.
