Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance -- Help customers find products, provide recommendations, and educate them on different cigar brands and accessories.
• Customer Service -- Greet customers warmly and provide an engaging and personalized shopping experience.
• Product Knowledge -- Answer questions about cigars, accessories, and promotions with confidence.
• Sales Transactions -- Efficiently process purchases, returns, and exchanges using cash registers and POS systems.
• Inventory Management -- Restock shelves, organize products, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Store Cleanliness & Presentation -- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
• Compliance -- Adhere to all store policies, including age verification for tobacco sales and safety regulations.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making accurate change.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not required -- we provide training!
• Knowledge or interest in cigars and cigar accessories is a bonus.
• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with tobacco sales regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (entire shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. (stocking shelves, handling inventory).
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to stock and retrieve products.
• Comfortable working in an environment where cigar smoking is permitted.

Schedule

• Availability is required on weekends, with two days off and working hours between 10 AM and 7 PM.
