Job summary

GEN Aspire, LLC dba Batteries Plus in Chesapeake and Suffolk, VA is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, help customers select batteries, lighting, and accessories, and perform light technical services.

You will receive paid training, opportunities for advancement, and PTO; candidates with device repair experience may start at higher pay. This role requires working at both locations and a willingness to cross-train as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to work scheduled shifts at both our Chesapeake and Suffolk stores.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and product recommendations.
• Help customers find the right batteries, lighting, and accessories.
• Perform battery testing, installation, and light technical services.
• Repair smartphones and tablets (paid training provided).
• Program automotive key fobs.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and count inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready store.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading merchandise.

This position requires working scheduled shifts at both our Chesapeake and Suffolk locations.

What You'll Do

Pay & Benefits

• $14-$15 per hour, depending on experience
