Job summary

Wild Fork is hiring a Team Member to deliver a memorable guest experience, train as a personal chef and friendly butcher, and maximize product freshness through inventory control. You will pick and pack online orders, assist at checkout, and provide an enthusiastic, knowledgeable shopping experience.

Compensation is $20 per hour plus a monthly bonus based on performance; physical duties include stocking and operating in cold environments, with opportunities for training and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and attentive listening.

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador: educate customers about WF values and products.
• Develop product and culinary knowledge through training to share recipes and tips.
• Provide a butcher-friendly shopping experience and personalize service.
• Assist customers at checkout and ensure a memorable experience.
• Stock duties, pricing changes, and cash register as needed.
• Process e-commerce orders and coordinate timely delivery pickup.
• Work in walk-in freezer environments and handle seasonal inventory.
• Contribute to other related duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Wild Fork Team Member , your focus is to deliver a memorable experience to all of our guests. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher to have the highest level of product knowledge to provide customers with recommendations on their favorite dish or protein. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, replenish low stock items, pick and pack online orders and deliver a friendly check-out experience.

Compensation: $20 an hour plus monthly bonus based on performance

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Be a Brand Ambassador – enthusiastic and passionate about our quality products, educate the consumer on what WFF stands for
• Become a product and culinary expert by giving total effort during our training classes to provide great recipes and tips on how to cook our protein
• Provide a butcher friendly shopping experience by personalizing every step of the way
• Assist customers during the check-out process and deliver an experience to remember
• Perform stocking duties such as lifting up to 50lb, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning store
• Oversee daily price changes and manage cash register as required
• Process customer e-commerce orders and oversee timely product hand out for deliveries
• Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment- pulling racks, process shipment, and performing monthly inventory in our walk-in freezer
• Performs other related duties

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in freezers
• Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours

Qualifications:
