Job summary

Burlington Stores in Secaucus, NJ, is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House and oversee receiving, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor. This role sits on the store leadership team and offers growth opportunities within our expanding organization.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box retail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process including receiving deliveries and sorting cartons
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup, and organization
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to prevent shortages
• Promote safety for customers and associates per guidelines
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards
• Directing associates and workload; coaching and recognition
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitors schedule adherence
