Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Columbia, SC, seeks a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations and supervise receiving, unloading, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.

You will manage back-of-house setup, safety, and asset protection while building strong teams and partnerships. Growth opportunities and competitive pay are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big-box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading/sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and moving goods to the floor.
• Maintain back-of-house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates according to guidelines.
• Foster a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards by associates.
• Direct associates and workload while driving productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations participation through company programs.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
