Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk who will help keep shelves fully stocked and ready for customers. You will perform a variety of retail tasks including stocking, merchandising, and interacting with customers in a fast-paced store environment.

You will work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time and maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role offers weekly pay and opportunities for growth within a multi-state retailer.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player and supportive of shared goals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
