Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and assist customers with knowledge and friendly service. The role supports daily store operations, merchandising, and back-room organization in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will stock shelves, move products efficiently, pull backstock, and collaborate with leadership to meet deadlines while maintaining a clean store that is welcoming to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Tech literacy and willingness to learn.
• Follow processes and stay organized.
• Remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
