Job summary

Boscov's is seeking Retail Receiving & Stock Associates to join our store team in Scranton, PA. You will help move merchandise from trucks to selling floors and maintain an orderly receiving dock while delivering friendly, attentive service to customers.

Ideal candidates have prior retail stocking experience and can operate forklifts and handling equipment safely. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail stocking experience preferred.
• Forklift certification helpful.
• Excellent verbal and telephone communication.
• Safe operation of forklift, freight elevator, baler.
• Must work well with the public and schedules include evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise to selling floor and stockroom.
• Load/unload trucks and move merchandise manually or with equipment.
• Assist with customer pickup at guard booth or in departments.
• Maintain neat receiving dock area (indoors and outside).
• Assist with set-up of special sales and events.
