Job summary

Food City is seeking a Stock Associate to maintain merchandise in its proper locations and provide courteous service to customers. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, check pricing, keep the stockroom neat, and rotate stock for freshness.

On-site attendance and adherence to schedules are essential, and stocking experience is helpful but not required. We offer a team environment with daily tasks that support store operations, helping customers while ensuring product availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Stocking experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock all merchandise in its proper location according to shelf allocation.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Replace misplaced items to the proper location.
• Unload trucks.
• Sweep and mop all areas of the store.
• Check shelf labels to ensure pricing accuracy.
• Keep stockroom area neat and clean.
• Remove and dispose of trash.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and quality.
• Clean and straighten shelves.
• Hang shelf tags.
• Stack product in stockroom.
• Bale all boxes.
